My screen has been produced, which meant I could begin printing and experimenting with my design, on different materials and using different pigments and dyes.
The Image below is one experimentation with different coloured pigments, I used Navy Blue 5RF and Pink 5BTL pigments and mixed them together to create in my reference a 'mystical' colour. I did this print on a piece of A3 paper. As you may see I have already began to repeat my print to the left, of the main print.
This next image shows my pigment, my squeegee's, my screen and my print. This was before i began to continue my repeat print.
This final image is the final outcome of this repeat print. It worked out excellent saying it was my second print where I lined up the design by eye. I love these colours I have used, I decided to use them because they link colours I used on my visual sheets and mood boards.
I enjoy experimenting with screen printing as it gives me more choice for when it comes to me choosing a final design for my final piece.
