After any printing process weather it is devore, pigment printing or puff binder you will follow near enough the same procedure afterwards. For example the picture below shows the drying rack where I will place my all of my work, weather it is an actual print or fabric that has been dyed.
Before I wash down my screen I will remove excess pigment, puff binder or devore paste off my squeegee and screen.
The image below shows how I will clean my screen, I use a pressure washer and a sponge. Firstly with the sponge I will wipe down the screen to remove anymore excess pigment, puff binder or devore paste; I will then use the pressure washer to spray down the screen. I will turn the screen round and repeat this process, and repeat on wards until the screen it fully clean. I can also clean my squeegee when doing this or I can wipe it down in a sink. After I have washed my screen I will place it up right into the drying cupboard. To make sure my screen drys quicker I will place it as high up in the cupboard as possible. It is important for me to clean my screen as soon as possible so that pigment dyes ext do not attach to and dye my screen.
After I have cleaned my screen and squeegee as well as place any of my work onto the drying rack I will clean my table, ensuring that no pigment ext is left on the table. If I wasn't to clean my table I could end up ruining my next piece of work or somebody else's work
