Pigment and Procion Dye Charts.

Pigments - used for printing the design onto materials.
Procion Dyes - used to dye the materials, for example fabrics and paper.

These images show the charts that are in the printing room at college. The top charts are for pigment dyes and the bottom line of colours show the Procion dyes. I use these charts to reference what colours I have used to print with or to dye fabric with. Each colour has a name or code, so by keeping note of this it allows me to refer back to what I used on a certain print in case I wont to reuse it for another.
