My final design is created from 'dissecting' my visual sheets and making a design out of my favorite sections. Once I had worked out what I wanted on my design I began the tracing. My tracing was created as a repeat print, this was done by firstly taking an A3 sheet and making it into a PERFECT square, In the middle of the square I began my design, I then extended the design to the top and the bottom of the square. I then had to find the continuous line that connected the top of the square to the bottom using the design; after this I cut the square at the side of the continuous line, placed each straight side together and completed my design. Throughout my design I played with the lines, for example the thickness of them, dots, split lines ext.
This second image is my final design put onto tracing paper, this is what will help create my screen for printing. When my design was copied onto the tracing paper you could see dark lines, one than was created from where the two section of paper where placed together; therefore I used a scalpel and neatly cut out the line and other dark sections that I do not want printing.
Overall I was extremely pleased with how my final design turned out.
