Tracings.

These two images are of my tracings I produced from my Lettuce Sea Slug visual and development sheets. I decided from my related sheet-work that I wanted to use two different colours as part of my design and to fulfill the clients brief of monochrome and a contrasting colour. Therefore I decided to create two screens.; one of the screens will be printed in say black and the other will be printed either a light grey or a colour relating to my sheet-work. My tracings went really well and were straight forward as it was simply tracing my A3 development sheet. Even though my tracing was simple it is the design I created an I am more happy with it, as I feel it is intricate and intriguing. The only issues I had with my tracings was photo copying them to hand in to be exposed onto screens; the first image below shows a tracing which photocopied fine. The second image when photocopied kept having the top cut off therefore I had to do two photo copies of each top and bottom side cut them in half and stick them together with magic tape; when this was done it was ready to be exposed onto a screen.

This first image will be printed as the inner section of my design. (A3 tracing suitable for sampling)

This second tracing will be the outer lines and main area of my design. (A3 tracing suitable for sampling)
