Sheet-work for a project is mandatory to make sure you have abase idea or ideas to develop further. From my research (secondary and primary) I decided I wanted to develop 3 types of Invertebrate Marine Sea Creatures. The first sheet I created is in the first image below, and it is based on what I mainly want to develop into a design, and it is called a Lettuce Sea Slug; I love the colours they hold and the shapes they form, the shapes they hold create beautiful line-work and an appearance of texture. To add texture to this mood board I used colours felt pens and water to produce a vibrant water affect that links to the Images I have used.
This next image shows the second mood board I produced for this project and it is based on Sea Urchin and the Brittle Starfish. I decided to add texture to this mood board by sewing onto it using metallic thread (bottom left corner), I tried to re create line work from the brittle starfish. I will be developing this sheet further (visual sheets) as I like the overall shape and lines of both Invertebrates.
