Peg Loom

Peg Loom Weaving:

This technique was interesting however it was also very time keeping. Peg loom is a simple method of weaving and can literally be done anywhere. I have used various materials, from wool to yarns to piping; I have tried to keep the materials a similar colours to what my colour scheme is. Peg loom weaving is simply weaving the materials in and out of the pegs. Many tutorials for this technique can be found online (youtube).

This image below shows the different textures the weave contains due to the various materials I have used. To say this was my first peg loom weave I was pleased with how it turned out and I would consider using this technique of weaving in the future.
