During class we had a peer assessment where my fellow students looked through all of the designs I have experimented techniques on and chose what they think I should re-create for my final piece. What they did was place a 1 on their favourite and 2 on their second favourite, after everyone had done this I looked through and decided what I should re-produce. The images below show what they chose as their second favourite and favourite designs of mine.
Even thought only 3 students chose this (most being second favourite) this is the one I decided to re-create as it was one of my favourite chosen and I find these colours work really well and link to both my visual sheets and mood boards.
Only one person hose this design, however I combined the tiling affect into my final piece, as I will describe in my next post.

This next image shows the design that got the most votes. I would love to re-create this for my final piece, however the fabric I used to print on was a found fabric, which would be hard for me to re-produce; for example finding out what fabric it is and trying to find a procion dye that would match the found fabric colouring would be difficult.

This next image shows the design that got the second highest votes however I don't like the colourings I have used altogether and it doesn't make the print stand out or interesting to the eye.
